Yeah, it seems to be pretty common. I'm not sure it's so much a law as it is giving credit where credit is due. Either way, added a note to the comic index. ^_^ |

Either page 16 is going to be late, or I got up and looked before you've updated, because I'm not seeing the new page. ^o^
By the way, I don't seem to be getting a lot of lag here and I haven't got any network timeouts, yet. Maybe it's because I'm still pretty close?

Figured I'd repost this here for anyone else who was confused! (Usernames are the ones from here, but the quotes are from the NTWF) ...why does Gloria's mom not like the adorable little fuzzy things? Why does everyone think they're dangerous when they seem so nice? =D Even Shadis is a l'il sweetie, as snarky as he is. Ah, well. XD There are a lot of different types of Wari in their world--ranging vastly in appearance and whatnot--not just the adorable fuzzy things shown in the comic. Most Wari are very much like wild animals with magic, lurking around in the forests and such outside of human cities, and will often attack anyone who comes close. Thus why Wari have built up a reputation for being dangerous.
Mystis, Shadis and the rest are very unique in the sense that they are far more sentient and far less hostile than other Wari. They're also sort of, uhhh... seclusive, and most humans aren't aware they exist. :3 (Thus Jenda's comment upon seeing Magmis, "I've never seen a Wari like this before...")
So basically, having never heard of Magmis or any of the other sentient Wari, Jenda jumps to the conclusion that since Magmis is a Wari, she is dangerous and will probably attack you if you get too close. |
